Alexandria harbor at dawn with fishing boats silhouetted against golden Mediterranean sky
Mediterranean Coast · Egypt

Alexandria

Where the Mediterranean turns silver at first light and fishing nets become silhouettes.

The Corniche at dawn delivers a palette no Lightroom preset can manufacture — silver-blue water, ochre stone walls, and the silhouettes of feluccas returning with the night's catch. Two full shooting days in the Eastern Harbor and the catacombs district.

Great Pyramids of Giza bathed in warm golden sunrise light against clear blue sky
Greater Cairo · Nile Delta

Cairo

Nineteen million stories compressed into a light that turns terracotta at exactly 5:47am.

The pyramids at golden hour are a cliché only if you've never stood there. We position you 4km west of the standard viewpoint, at the exact angle where the Sahara drops away and the light rakes across the limestone faces. Plus a full day in Islamic Cairo — the minarets, the Khan el-Khalili at magic hour.

Valley of the Kings at dawn with warm amber sandstone cliffs glowing in early morning light
Upper Egypt · Nile Valley

Luxor

The Valley of the Kings in the hour before tourists arrive. Sandstone burning amber.

We have private access to the Valley of the Kings at 04:45 — ninety minutes before the gates open publicly. The sandstone catches the first light at an angle that makes every carved hieroglyph cast its own shadow. Karnak at twilight, when the columns turn from amber to deep violet.

Aswan Nile river with traditional felucca sailboats at golden hour with warm amber reflections
Southern Egypt · Nubia

Aswan

The Nile at its most photogenic. Granite islands, Nubian villages, feluccas on fire.

Aswan is where the Nile turns slow and golden. We shoot from a felucca at the exact moment the sun touches the water — the moment described in every photography book but rarely actually experienced. Nubian village access for portrait work at blue hour, Philae Temple at sunset.

Crystal clear turquoise Red Sea water at Dahab with coral visible below and mountains behind
Red Sea Coast · Sinai

Dahab

Coral walls sixty feet down. The Blue Hole at noon. Surface shots no preset can fake.

The Red Sea at Dahab has a quality of light that exists nowhere else — the combination of clear water, white sand bottom, and the Sinai mountains behind creates a color palette that shifts from deep cobalt to turquoise to aquamarine within a single hour. Underwater housing available for coral shoots.
